Responsibilities & Context:
Assist Patient with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Help Patient with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and repositioning
Provide companionship and emotional support to Patient
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
Escort Patient to appointments or social outings
Patient care assistants assist nurses with patient repositioning and handling.
They undertake stocking duties.
They maintain a clean environment for better hygiene and faster recovery of the patients.
They escort patients through wheelchairs to hospitals and other medical facilities to attend treatments, appointments, or further diagnosis.
