Job Location: Dhaka Karail-Banani, Ershadnagar-Tongi, and Narayanganj-Narayanganj Sadar.

Job Context

Background:

A group of experts has developed a detailed implementation design and operational plan of the Urban Clinic Model for Primary Health Care to Serve Urban Population.

Based on the developed model, UNICEF assigned Partners in Health and Development - PHD (along with two implementing partners; CMED and Nari Maitree) as the lead organization to implement a competitive and sustainable system to manage GP centers focused on performance-based payment (P4P) system to empaneled health workers whereby promotive, preventive and curative health services are rewarded and the clinics have a level of autonomy to ensure efficient use of resources while providing quality Primary Health Care. The clinics will be part of the health system and essential commodities, such as medicines, vaccines, FP commodities, micronutrients, will be sourced from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Job Responsibilities

• Organize the workplace with demonstration of using items, Conduct satellite services if necessary.
• Conduct screening with digital equipment’s provided by the project.
• Keep service records of all care provided and submit the report to Clinic Manager and project office as well.
• Provide ESP services according to national standards and protocol
• Assist GP and Consultant in clinical procedure
• Prepare patients for examination services
• Conduct Growth Monitoring to under 5 children
• Provide FP commodities to the patient
• Provide Counselling for nutrition services
• Also, provide preventive care services
• Refer patients to GP at Vital/Ultra for examination /treatment.
• Take health education sessions with the beneficiaries both at static and satellite clinics
• Provide hands-on training to the Volunteers, Aya (Aide)
• Help volunteers in organizing satellite clinics' logistic
• Maintain stock of medicines and contraceptives of the sub-store (if there is any)
• Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Clinic Manager.
