Job Summary:
AZS Tutoring is seeking responsible, knowledgeable, and student-focused part-time tutors to provide personalized one-to-one online instruction to K-6 to K–12 students. The ideal candidate will explain concepts clearly, adapt lessons to each student’s learning needs, and help students improve their academic performance and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct engaging one-on-one online tutoring sessions..
• Teach students based on their grade level, curriculum, and individual needs..
• Prepare lesson plans, practice materials, and assignments..
• Explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently..
• Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback..
• Help students prepare for homework, quizzes, examinations, and academic assessments..
• Maintain professional communication with students, parents, and the AZS Tutoring team..
• Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions when required..
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.
Subjects:
Applicants may apply to teach the following subject:
• Mathematics.
Need to be knowledgeable in the following subjects:
• Science.
• English.
• Other K6–K12 academic subjects.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a bachelor’s program at a recognized institution.
• Candidates with a strong academic background. (CGPA above 3.00+ is preferrable)
• Completed A level. (Must)
• Relevant teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of the selected subject.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills..
• Excellent Command in English.
• Ability to explain concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
• Patience, professionalism, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Ability to use Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar online platforms.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet connection and webcam.
• Ability to work independently and maintain assigned schedules.
Experience:
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates and university students with strong academic qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Working Hours:
• Part-time and flexible, based on student schedules ( 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM BD Time) [This timing is applicable as we cater towards international students] [Timing may vary based on the location of the student]
• Candidates must be available during assigned tutoring hours.
• Some evening or weekend availability may be required.
