Educational Requirements:
∎ Preferably MBA- major in Marketing from a reputed Business School (Public or Private University or Foreign Institute)
∎ B.Sc. in Computer Science will add advantage
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for sourcing computer and stock maintenance.
∎ Investigate new items, makes plan & recommendations for purchasing products.
∎ Monitor sales, construct sales pitches and presentations.
∎ Check inventory to ensure orders are in warehouse.
∎ Implore information about computer needs from customers.
∎ Negotiate price for the sale with vendor/ third party (e.g. DELL, HP).
∎ Coordinate after sales service with service department and third party.
∎ Undertake market survey and prepares report on existing product and pricing of competitors.
∎ Make correspondence with suppliers when necessary.
∎ Undertake product training, product testing, evaluation and advise on appropriate user training for shop staffs.
∎ Monitor product performance.
∎ Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed. knowledge of technical specifications and other features.
∎ Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
∎ Perform any other job assigned by the Supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ Very good knowledge about Computer industry in Bangladesh- Retail and Dealer
∎ At least 5 years’ experience in dealing with sourcing computer
∎ Product knowledge
∎ New Product introduction and extensions
∎ Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels
∎ Good command in English is a must
∎ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and MS Word
∎ Self-motivated and able to work under stress
∎ Analytic approach to decision making
∎ Result oriented and winning with others
∎ Market oriented
