Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist line manager in achieving the communication objectives set for events, public relations and outreach
∎ Create and maintain a database of schools and colleges through regular interaction and monitoring
∎ Coordinate and execute outreach events targeted at local schools and colleges to achieve the goals set out by the annual outreach plans through coordination with ULAB departments when and as necessary for the smooth execution of all events, along with providing performance reports for each event
∎ Coordinate event logistics, including venue booking, catering, and audiovisual requirements and overseeing event staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth event execution;
∎ Research and write clear, concise, and engaging press releases for a variety of media outlets by collaborating with internal teams to gather information and key messages for press releases
∎ Arrange official meetings and keep meeting minutes along with processing all bills and dealing with all vendors of the Communications office
