∎ One of our clients (engaged in engineering and technology sectors and implementing works for both local and multinational organizations) is looking for a team member as follows:
∎ Job Location : Basically, in Dhaka, but might visit outside of Dhaka if required

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accounts:
∎ Enterprise Resource Planning (with software), Budgeting, and Performance Management;
∎ Preparation of all types of internal and external planning, procurement and financial reports;
∎ Maintenance, documentation & record keeping of all books of accounts complying with the Companies Act, Income Tax (IT); Value Added Tax (VAT) and other laws;
∎ Preparation of all types of financial reports and compliance of IT & VAT with proper planning for IT & VAT;
∎ Prepare withholding Tax return of the company and submit to circle office of NBR;
∎ Preparation and submission of Tax Return for individual staff and company;
∎ Prepare monthly VAT return documents and ensure on time due submission;
∎ To attend Income Tax & VAT hearing of the individual as well as for the company;
∎ Other jobs as and when assigned by the Management;
∎ Finance:
∎ Managing and ensuring quality operation of financial systems;
∎ S/he will ensure that effective systems like financial accounting, reporting, and control mechanism are in place and regularly reviewed to allow adequate financial management and control;
∎ Familiar with financial data and be comfortable in presenting data, views and perspectives to other stakeholders;
∎ Managing the Master Budget and Individual Budgets along with a monthly update on the budget variance analysis to the SMT and all budget holders. Managing financial aspects of budget development for new proposals including development of support costs budget lines, overall consolidation and transfer to donor format is another vital responsibility of this position;
∎ Preparation and finalization of proposals, feasibility reports for the management and financial institutions and all other stakeholders;
∎ Preparation of all required documents both in proactive and reactive manners, building relationship and maintaining proper communications being the focal points with the financial institutions, and all other stakeholders;
∎ Other responsibilities include, ensure the effective functioning of the treasury, fund, and cash management; monitor accurate and on time submission of financial reports to other members, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies; lead the development of finance policies and procedures and support to establish, maintain, and improve active and regular working relationships with multi stakeholders. The role includes line management responsibility and will be expected to work outside the normal role profile.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 2 year(s), would be relaxed for accounting and finance prodigy
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Accounting, Finance, ICT, Tax (like, VAT, Customs, Income Tax, etc.), Stakeholders' Relationship, Regulatory Issues (like RJSC, BIDA, Bangladesh Bank and other banks, documentary credits, financing, investing, etc.)
∎ OTHER REQUIRED ACUMEN AND SKILLS :
∎ Information and Communication Technology (ICT): Sophisticated proficiency in ICT with superb skills in MS-Office Suites (particularly Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, MS-Project, etc.) along with accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally, ERPs etc.
∎ Must be self-driven, focused and poised
∎ Clear understanding of VAT, TAX Custom Duty, Commercial Import.
∎ Good command over English & Bengali writing.
