Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Rights & Governance (R&G) is considered as one of the cross-cutting sectors of DAM dedicated toward the right-based developmental approach. R&G Sector is flourishing through its multidimensional projects & institutes based upon rights oriented causes.
∎ "ASHSHASH (Phase-II) is a project of WINROCK International which is implemented by DAM through a partnership agreement. This 3 year, 4 month Ashshash (Phase-II) project is funded by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh through WINROCK International. The main objective of the project is to ensure that "women and men who have escaped trafficking will restore their dignity and well-being and become self-sufficient". The survivors will be provided psychosocial counselling support along with other social services and facilitated opportunities for skill-development and entrepreneurship training. Upon completion of the training survivors will be placed in either wage-based and or self-employment. Furthermore, Ashshash will reach people in the project's working areas; either directly or indirectly, through awareness-raising activities on factors that make people vulnerable to human trafficking, and to ensure the prevention of human trafficking.
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is looking for suitable candidate for an immediate appointment as well as to prepare a panel list for the different position for ASHSHASH Phase-II project under Dhaka West and Manikganj District.
∎ Job Location: Manikganj District.
∎ Job Nature : Full-time, Contractual

∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Maintain survivors' confidentiality of information throughout the ongoing process of counselling, and build trust with their families, peers, and communities.
∎ Keeping all necessary documents (all kinds of forms/registers, reports, files, guideline and other documents) of Ashshash Phase-II project properly.
∎ Provide support to implementation the different training, meeting, workshop, seminar, symposium organized by the project and other counterpart.
∎ Provide support to maintaining cleaning servicing and other relevant work.
∎ Provide support to entertainment for survivors, guest and staff;
∎ Other duties, as assigned.
∎ Required Languages: Strong written and oral command in Bangle is required.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 15,000 BDT (consolidated) per month (Yearly 4% inflation)
∎ Festival / Prorata Bonus : As per organizational policy
