Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Master of Science (MSc) in Food & Nutrition
• Master of Philosophy (M.Phil)

• A minimum of M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition from a reputed university recognized by the Government of Bangladesh.

• Candidates with an M.Phil. or MPH (Community Nutrition) will be given preference.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

• Age At most 50 years

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in a reputed Medical College, Hospital, or recognized healthcare industry.

• Strong analytical thinking

• Professional knowledge of various diseases and their nutritional effects

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).

Responsibilities:

• Nutritional Assessment: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments (clinical, biochemical, anthropometric, and dietary history) of hospitalized and outpatient individuals.

• Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT): Develop, implement, and monitor individualized diet plans for patients based on their medical condition, especially those with complex diseases.

• Food Service Coordination: Collaborate with the Food Services Department to ensure that all patient meals (normal, therapeutic, and special cooked meals) adhere to safety, sanitation, quality, and prescribed nutritional standards.

• Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Work closely with consultants, medical officers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to integrate nutrition care into the overall treatment plan.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and prepare statistical reports on departmental activities.
