Job Context:
∎ Background:
∎ A group of experts has developed a detailed implementation design and operational plan of the Urban Clinic Model for Primary Health Care to Serve Urban Population.
∎ Based on the developed model, Partners in Health and Development - PHD (along with two implementing partners; CMED and Nari Maitree) has been assigned by UNICEF as the lead organization to implement a competitive and sustainable system to manage GP centers focused on performance-based payment (P4P) system to empanelled health workers whereby promotive, preventive and curative health services are rewarded and the clinics have a level of autonomy to ensure efficient use of resources while providing quality Primary Health Care. The clinics will be part of the health system and essential commodities, such as medicines, vaccines, FP commodities, micronutrients, will be sourced from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communicating with patients their family and staff in an appropriate manner maintaining respect and dignity and a harmonious relationship with all
∎ Assist patients arriving on to the clinic by directing them to the correct areas and explaining the clinic layout and what needs to be done
∎ Assist patients through the registration process, undertaking full nursing assessment of the patient
∎ Safe moving and handling of patients with different mobility problems
∎ Assist the doctors (GP/ Consultants) as necessary with clinical procedures
∎ Have good understanding of pre investigation preparation for and educate patients accordingly
∎ Participate in patient health education
∎ Ensure verbal or written consent as per policy before carrying out procedures giving full explanation beforehand
∎ Full understanding of infection control measures implementing universal precautions at all times
∎ Ensure correct maintenance of instrument and equipment by proper cleaning, handling sterilizing and utilization
∎ Participate in and contribute to staff meetings
∎ Ready to serve Covid-19 patients
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Diagnostic Centre, clinic or Hospital
∎ Females are encouraged to apply
∎ In-depth knowledge of clinic/ hospital procedures
∎ Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
∎ Skills in working in a Team
∎ Great communication and people skills
∎ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
