Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Act as a lead nurse trainer to plan and organize nursing care activities for specific departments according to hospital policies and service needs.
∎ Develop and update nursing & PCA training programs and curricula based on the latest healthcare guidelines, best practices, and hospital policies.
∎ Conduct training sessions, workshops, and orientations for nursing, PCA and other technical staff, ensuring they acquire the clinical and soft skills required for their roles.
∎ Assess and evaluate the clinical competency of nursing, PCA and other technical staff, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized training plans to address deficiencies.
∎ Emphasize and reinforce best practices in patient safety, infection control, and quality care delivery to ensure a high standard of patient care.
∎ Train nurses on the effective use of medical equipment, technology, and healthcare information systems used within the hospital.
∎ Educate nurses on accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care provided, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
∎ Encourage and support the continued professional development of nursing, PCA and other technical staff, including participation in workshops, conferences, and certification programs.
∎ Develop and administer assessments to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of training programs.
∎ Use feedback to make the necessary adjustments for improvement.
∎ Collaborate with other healthcare educators, trainers, and department heads to ensure a holistic approach to staff development and patient care.
∎ Ensure that all nursing training programs align with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
∎ Ensure that a high standard of process is maintained throughout every function.
