∎ Working as an important member of a diverse team who are committed to serve the world`s most vulnerable with practical and compassionate care. The staff Nurse contributes to the reduction of excess morbidity and mortality amongst FDMN.
∎
∎ We are looking for a Nurse who is knowledgeable, energetic, disciplined and proactive with a strong understanding of quality patient care, reporting, documentations, health research and basic administrative management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Nurse will report to Project Coordinator for admin and management and to Clinical Coordinator for professional matters. He/She will devote time as per following broad headings:
∎ 1. Clinical Care/Infection Prevention Control (90% of time):
∎ Provide direct clinical care, working closely with the clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high quality comprehensive emergency and primary healthcare services.
∎ Perform duties in triage, screening and assessment of parents as needed.
∎ Perform basic first aid and wound care.
∎ Monitoring patients record, investigations and collecting data & information
∎ Delivery of hygiene promotion, health education and patient/caregiver counselling.
∎ Identify survivors of sexual assault and refers them for registration, counselling and postnatal care in line with relevant standard and protocols.
∎ Ensure accurate recording of information in the clinic registers and timely completion of summary reports.
∎ Ensure wards/clinic areas are appropriately stocked with essential
∎ Ensure patient privacy is respected and that all consultations are conducted in a dignified and respectful manner.
∎ Follow MedGlobal Inc. guidelines and policies in relation to Gender Equality.
∎ Any other duties within his/her scope of work as assigned by supervisor.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the health manager tasked with quality assurance.
∎ Work in close liaison with doctors and provide services as necessary.
∎ Regularly record and review the patients reports/Health Card.
∎ Advise patients for do's and don'ts and on medication.
∎ Ensure timely requisition, procurement and availability of medicine/medical equipment and other medical supplies necessary for smooth functioning HP.
∎ Support the collection and accurate reporting of impact data related to the project as guided by the Clinical Coordinator (CC) and Project Coordinator (PC).
∎ 2. Networking: (5% of time)
∎ Visit local Govt. admin authorities, NGOs/INGOs and stakeholders, with the prior permission of PC and CC to build rapport and understanding
∎ Refer patients in higher facility as necessary
∎ 3. Others: (5% of time)
∎ Attend in-house and outside training as directed by the CC and PC.
∎ Keep work station neat, clean and tidy at all times.
∎ Work in close liaison with the CC and PC and submit periodical reports.
∎ Attend meetings as directed by the CR and PM.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills
∎ Working skill in a clinical setting
∎ Demonstrated experience of working closely in Labs, especially in emergency and refugee camps.
∎ Working experience in an NGO is an asset.
∎ Fluency in Bangla and Rohingya/local Cox's Bazar dialect is preferable.
∎ Effective presentation of relevant information (oral & written)
∎ Willingness to travel in field areas, proficiency in computer is needed.
∎ Qualifications and Experience
∎ Qualification
∎ Diploma in Nursing from any Govt. recognized institution recognized by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
∎ Must be in possession of valid BMNC registration certificate
∎ Certification and education/training on Lab procedures is preferred.
∎ Experience
∎ A minimum of 6+ months of experience at INGO/NGO
∎ Experience in developing SBC materials and messages particularly on SGBV and Reproductive health rights of the women and girls is preferred.
∎ Experience in training facilitation and strong interpersonal communication skill with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels.
∎ Experience in working in Cox's Bazar area and, especially in FDMN camp will be an advantage.

∎ Other Requirements
∎
∎ Chittagong dialect, proficiency in English and in basic computer literacy are regarded as asset.
∎ Must have willingness to serve the refugee community
∎ A team player with the ability to collaborate and work effective in multicultural setting
∎ Cultural sensitivity and a demonstrated understanding of the humanitarian context
∎ Must have good interpersonal skills.
