Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
∎ Ultimately, as a Music Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story through the lyric & music.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Study design briefs and determine requirements and conceptualize visuals of the story based on requirements.
∎ Understanding the story, provide logistic support to make video contents according to the story so that raw footage will create a better opportunity to make the final composition.
∎ Perform all editing work including inserting music, sound effects, colour, storyboarding, etc.
∎ Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
∎ Edit raw footage content for producing film and video with proper tools and expertise.
∎ Perform video and audio editing based on story sequence and continuity.
∎ Use creative thoughts with professional techniques in finalizing video editing.
∎ Make creative assets or files by using adobe photoshop & illustrator for video production.
∎ Applicants must have their own digital library of LUTs and personally modified samples for LUTs (Look-Up Table). By Luts, filmmakers, editors, and colourists can save particular colour grades as a template.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to a computer
∎ Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting from music compositions and writing script for voice-overs
∎ Inputting graphics to enhance footage
∎ Digitally slicing video footages and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
∎ Improving and correcting the lighting, colouring and faulty footage
∎ Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision
∎ Choose audio effects from a database of soundtracks to include in the final film
∎ Lyrical video creation using the standard template or LUTs with provided photos and music tracks
∎ Edit videos and static graphic content mainly focused on social media marketing.
