Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Arts (MA) in Music, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music
∎ OR Bachelor/ Master degree in any discipline having 5 years working experience as Music Teacher with any reputed English medium/ IB school.

∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direct supervision of Coordinating Teacher and overall supervision of Principal/ Vice Principal, the incumbent is expected to perform his/her duties and responsibilities as follows:
∎ Supervising lessons, designing curriculum and developing module for music classes and also for drama classes (if required);
∎ Teaching music to the students of multi-cultural background;
∎ Leading rehearsal to create dramatic presentation with music;
∎ Organizing school cultural events;
∎ Communicating with peers, students and parents regularly and constructively ;
∎ Providing appropriate instructions to the students that will help them to attain competency in the Music as per their grade level;
∎ Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Coordinating Teacher/AusIS Administration.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should have thorough knowledge on Western Music Theory;
∎ Must be fluent in Spoken English;
∎ Should be familiar with and experienced in Choreography;
∎ Must be able to play the musical instruments: (i) Piano/ Keyboard, (ii) Guitar. Playing ability in Tabla will be given preference;
