Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is inviting applications from competent candidates for the following position for immediate recruitment for a project titled Enhancing Community Based Inclusive Development in Bangladesh (ECBID) supported by CBM.
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with a disability. CDD is simultaneously educating the development stakeholders & community in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation & other supports.

∎ CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable and respectable work environment.
∎ The project "Enhancing CBID in Bangladesh (ECBID)" aims to create a model on CBID practices led by Local Government Institutions, service providers and communities through the combined efforts of people with disabilities themselves, their families, organizations and communities, and the relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations and service providers with an objective to create a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. The project is implemented in seven locations of Chattogram district: 3 wards of City Corporation, 2 unions of Rangunia Upazila and 2 unions of Bashkhali Upazila.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist project manager to coordinate and implement the project.
∎ Develop and/or update M&E tools, database and reporting formats in close collaboration with the project manager.
∎ Track budget & expenditures of the project and assist team leader to provide necessary support on their strategies, implementation & monitoring.
∎ Development communication materials.
∎ Prepare and finalize monitoring reports.
∎ Collection of good practices and stories,
∎ Documentation and publication of the good practices and case stories
∎ Identify focus issues for video documentation and lead the process.
∎ Facilitate effective implementation of Project Monitoring System.
∎ Facilitate that project maintaining essential standards and compliance requirements.
∎ Closely work with different Project team members and partners to document practices and draw lessons learnt.
∎ Carry out any internal evaluation and/or support external evaluation.
∎ Work with the LGIs and other service providers to include marginalized communities in the existing services and opportunities at the local level.
∎ Work with the local level health authorities (CC, UHFWC, UHC etc.) to make their
∎ Services accessible for all including marginalised groups, extremely poor and privileged group of people.
∎ Development and prepare di?erent learning documents, booklet, newsletter, poster etc. as per project need.
∎ Prepare project inclusive visibility materials and other publications.
∎ Prepare di?erent reports for the project and organizational management and donor.
∎ Perform additional work according to the project needs and as being assigned by the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 5 years of proven working experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning.
∎ Ability to strictly follow project's MEAL Framework, data analysis and generate essential reports and analysis using the software.
∎ Ability to analyze and integrate diverse information from varied sources;
∎ Knowledge of working with OPDs and local government;
∎ Orientation and acquaintance to different online software/platform, for example, KOBO, Monkey Survey, Google Form, etc.
∎ Capacity and proven track record on development of knowledge products - monitoring and / or internal evaluation reports, analytical reports, human interest/case stories, article for publication / social media.
∎ Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), web-based communications, social media, etc;
∎ Experience in data collection, including survey design and training enumerators.
∎ Understanding and experience with data management, including database design.
∎ Proven experience in data analyzing, including both qualitative and quantitative methods using appropriate software.
∎ Competent and is able to produce reports on short notice.
∎ Excellent in written & spoken communication in English and Bengali.
∎ Research experience is desirable.
∎ Disability background will be given preference.
∎ Willing to make frequent field visits independently (maintaining COVID-19 safety protocols)
