∎ Agrajattra is looking for a dedicated M&E Officer for our new 3-Year Child Protection Project in Cox`s Bazar (Rohingya focused), titled, "Bridging the Gaps: Strengthening Mental Health Support for Children and Young People". Our planned project has three key components: strengthening the collective resilience of the Rohingya community, strengthening the individual resilience of children and adolescents, and expanding access to mental health services through the provision of psychosocial support and case management for children in need and at risk.

∎ The main responsibility of the M&E Officer will be to support the Project Coordinator in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation procedures in the field, including tracking the progress of activities carried out by Agrajattra, through direct community engagement to inform project decision making
∎ Terms and Conditions: Contract is for six (6) months and may be extended based on proved experience and results.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ General
∎ Monitor attendance and psychosocial development of children and adolescents participating in the different project components
∎ Engage Community Protection Committees to strengthen Beneficiary Feedback Mechanisms (BFM) and establish long-term community ties during the project life
∎ Monitor activities carried out by the Community Protection Committees and support where required
∎ Design and deliver a monitoring system of the project for its appropriateness and effectiveness
∎ Design data collection tools and templates and assist other project staff with regular data collection/generation process in the field
∎ Develop the project M&E framework and workplan
∎ Prepare the monitoring field visit plan and conduct monitoring visits as per the M&E framework and workplan
∎ Conduct timely monitoring of project sites to ensure the quality delivery of inputs and make recommendations for achieving expected results
∎ Provide technical support to project staff on implementing the M&E workplan
∎ Liaise with other project staff to collect and analyze data and determine progress achieved
∎ Provide support as a facilitator on training or through the orientation programme on concepts related to M&E, as well as the required skills and tools for M&E in the field
∎ Contribute to designing training and communications materials related to M&E system for other field-based staff
∎ Verify and compile data collected from the field as per the M&E workplan
∎ Lead and deliver monitoring reports, project progress reports, case studies, video documentation, presentation, and any other content as required
∎ Other duties as assigned.

∎ Reporting
∎ Keep the Child Protection Project Coordinator informed on the activities of the project by providing relevant correspondence, reports and meeting minutes as well as making regular updates.
∎ Collect and develop case stories, document best practice, including lessons learnt, update and manage that information in projects' and other relevant reports

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least three years working in monitoring, evaluation, or project management is preferred.
∎ Demonstrated experience and commitment to working with marginalized communities.
∎ Experience of quantitative and qualitative tools development and data collection and analysis
∎ Hands-on experience of managing database software
∎ Strong knowledge and experience of writing reports
∎ Experience in child protection in protracted crisis / early recovery a significant advantage
∎ Experience working in Rohingya camps is a significant advantage
∎ Upholds humanitarian values and principles
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla (written and spoken) and excellent writing skills.
∎ Rohingya or Chittagonian language skills is a significant advantage
∎ Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills.
∎ Strong monitoring and evaluation skills/experience
∎ Knowledge of project cycle management
