Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will work with USAID, finalize the M&E plan, and prepare an online information system compliant with USAID and Jhpiego data systems standards
∎ Work closely with MOH&FW, including Directorate General of Health Services, other related directorates, partner NGOs and health facilities to support them to plan and design an easy-to-use data collection system from the field, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality
∎ Develop a system for secure access of program data for processing by other teams
∎ Build capacity of partner NGOs to collect GIS and program data for hospitals and community touch points
∎ Ensure that the data is compatible and available to be shared with the MOH&FW DHIS2 system
∎ Develop dashboards and data visualization including mapping tools to be used for the other teams
∎ Support M&E Officer to ensure weekly/fortnightly data review with relevant teams
∎ Take on other work responsibilities from time to time as required for program implementation
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years professional experience managing data in health projects
∎ USAID project experience preferred
∎ Experience in designing and managing Management Information Systems in health sector
∎ Familiarity with public sector data sources, preferably Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
∎ Familiarity with DHIS2, PowerBI, databases and data visualization tools preferred
∎ Familiarity with ArcGIS or other GIS software
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders
∎ Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
∎ Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges
∎ Ability to travel within Bangladesh at a short notice
