∎ Candidates from English medium background (having done O and A Levels) will be given preference.

∎ A Middle School math teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging math lessons to students in grades II-V, assessing their understanding of mathematical concepts through various methods like quizzes, tests, and projects, providing support to struggling students, maintaining a positive classroom environment, communicating student progress with parents, and staying updated on best practices in math education through professional development.
∎ Key responsibilities include:
∎ Lesson planning: Creating comprehensive and engaging math lessons aligned with the curriculum, incorporating diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
∎ Instruction delivery: Teaching core middle school math concepts like algebra, geometry, statistics, and number theory, using clear explanations, visual aids, and real-world applications.
∎ Student assessment: Regularly evaluating student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and formative assessments to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
∎ Differentiated instruction: Providing additional support and tailored activities to students struggling with math concepts, while challenging advanced learners.
∎ Classroom management: Fostering a positive learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, participate actively, and collaborate with peers.
∎ Communication with parents: Regularly updating parents about their child's academic performance through progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and other communication channels.
∎ Collaboration with colleagues: Working with other math teachers to develop consistent curriculum, share best practices, and coordinate instruction across grade levels.
