At least 03 years experience as “Microbiology Technologist” in a reputed Hospital/Diagnostic Center
Responsibilities & Context:
Receive, inspect, and analyze clinical specimens (blood, urine, tissue, swabs) to identify pathogens.
Prepare, inoculate, and maintain cultures of microorganisms. Identify microorganisms using biochemical, microscopic, and molecular techniques.
Perform tests to determine the susceptibility of microorganisms to antimicrobial agents to guide treatment plans.
Calibrate instruments, validate test methods, and adhere to strict quality control protocols to ensure accurate results.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., incubators, microscopes, analyzers).
Record findings in laboratory information systems (LIS) and prepare reports for healthcare providers or researchers.
Adhere to safety protocols for handling hazardous biological materials
