Experience:
Master’s degree in clinical/ counselling psychology from any reputed University
Training (formal and informal) in counselling and psychology is strongly preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experiences in psychosocial counseling & GBV risk management
Experience working with NGO/INGO in Cox`s bazar area is essential (in a counselling role)
Knowledge of counselling and psychosocial support is essential
Ability to remain flexible, and to maintain good spirits in challenging and stressful situations
Good speaking and writing skills in both Bangla and English
Job Context:
Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a Bangladeshi development organization has been working in the public health sector for more than years and implementing different projects around the country. PHD implements number of Emergency Response Projects in Cox’s Bazar District with diversified activities. To maintain mental health and psychosocial services as per standard protocol in the Health Facilities, PHD intends to hire qualified psychosocial counsellors to work at FDMN Camp in Ukhiya and invites applications from technically sound and competent persons to apply with confidence.
