• Diploma in medical technology (lab) from a recognized institution with minimum (02) two years’ experience in relevant field. Any third division/class in academic career will lead to ineligibility.

Damien Foundation (DF), a Belgian International NGO, involved in the control of Tuberculosis and Leprosy in close collaboration with the Government of Bangladesh in different districts, is currently hiring for the following position for its NPOC for TB Diagnosis in Peripheral Facilities of Bangladesh Project:

Medical Technologist (Lab): 07 positions in Tangail, Mymensingh, Jamalpur district of Damien Foundation working areas.

Key responsibilities: Strengthen government health systems for integrated TB control and prevention services through collection of required samples for examination, maintain optimum standard in TB laboratory services through proper collection and processing of sputum, swab and other samples using Pluslife Minidock MTB/ microscopy/ GeneXpert/ Truenat following approved SOPs and national guidelines. Will plan and prepare periodic/annual logistic requirements for the laboratory services, support other staff at laboratories whenever necessary, conduct outreach centers at the field level, take part in other TB control related activities such as patient visit, active contact checking, maintain proper records, reports, registers etc. and engage in any other job as required by the project.

Posting place: District/Upazila/Union Level health centers (peripheral lab) located inside Own (Damien Foundation) or government health facilities at Tangail, Mymensingh, Jamalpur district.
