Job Context:

ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 331 upazilas under 54 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.

∎ As partnership with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, ESDO is implementing the Shasthyo Surokhsha Karmasuchi (SSK) in Lalmonirhat District. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Medical Technicians will work as Medical Technologist (Lab) at different Upazila Health Complex under Lalmonirhat district.
∎ According to medical prescription, preparing and performing clinical exams/tests with appropriate
∎ techniques and following national protocols and procedures.
∎ Centrifuging blood samples and storing them according to SOPs.
∎ Performing laboratory exams as per need.
∎ Ensuring proper storage of samples and packing for transport (from the study site to the external lab).
∎ Ensuring proper reporting and registration of the sample results in order to keep a written track of
∎ activity and give information to the relevant persons, ensuring confidentiality.
∎ Taking care of, manage and organize efficiently the laboratory material/equipment
∎ Perform cleaning and minor maintenance for biomedical equipment used. Following the user manual
∎ and protocols and alert supervisor in case of malfunctioning
∎ Applying hygiene and safety protocols, doing daily cleaning, maintenance, sterilization, washing
∎ general glassware after procedures are done.
∎ Ensuring proper sample waste disposal according to national protocols and highest safety standards.
∎ Supplying orders carry out stock, storage conditions follow-up, keep inventory.
∎ Keeping organized the data collection system of laboratory results and all information generated from
∎ the analysis done.
∎ Chemically analyzing blood or urine for toxic components.
∎ Analyzing lab reports for accuracy.
∎ Carry out other related duties as and when assigned by the Management

∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience 2 years in the following area- clinical research center,
∎ Diagnostic center, Hospital Diagnostics, Lab and Diagnostics, Medical Technologist/ Lab Operator
Salary: Tk. 24700 (Monthly)
