Responsibilities & Context:
The candidate will be a MBBS. Experience in urban health programming will be an added advantage for this position. 3 years experience as a practicing physician.
Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the center.
- Be familiar with ESD+ Services and remain up dated and keep staff up to date.
- Conduct normal deliveries and supervise/assist the nurse in managing the newborn.
- Conduct/assist in LUCS operations.
- Implement nutrition interventions according to norms, standards and protocols, eg growth monitoring, screening, identification and treatment for SAM; referral of identified cases, etc.
- Assist nurses in ensuring that they perform they are responsibility efficiently.
- Assess the need for drugs and instruments/equipment and assist CRHCC Manager.
