Project Name: 'MNCH and Nutrition Service Delivery for Bangladeshi Host Community’
Reportable to: UH&FPO - Upazila Health Complex at Upazila level
Monitoring & Technical Assistants: UNICEF will deploy a group of staff for round-the-clock monitoring and technical support. This may include spot check, review of performance reports and assessing technical competency.
Accountable to: As an appointing authority, you will be accountable to PHD for legal and disciplinary procedures for which PHD will review your performances periodically. Project Coordinator of this project and senior officials will represent PHD.

Job Objective:
To lead operational activities of ‘'MNCH and Nutrition Service Delivery for Bangladeshi Host Community’ supported by UNICEF is to manage investments primarily at 4 hard to reach Upazila. As a part of human resource support, PHD and UNICEF proposes to provide and strengthen CEmOC services with upgraded Neonatal Stabilization Unit (NSU) in (Kutubdia, Moheskhali, Hatiya and Swandip) to continue providing the neonatal health services.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of general rules, contributing direct clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance to co-workers’ duties and risk management that encompasses highest standards in patient care, efficient and verified diagnosis of complexes with treatment plan, identifying areas of improvement in patient flow. Collaborating with consultants, contribute to medical administration and data management. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Specifically, under the technical supervision of UNICEF’s Health Section, Cox’s Bazar and in close collaboration with respective UHC, CS-Office, and relevant government institutions at Upazila-level, each Medical Officer, staying in Duty Area, will undertake the following tasks, not limited to:
