CSS is a humanitarian and socio-economic development organization that has been operating in Bangladesh since 1972. Within the Health Sector, CSS manages the Reverend Abdul Wadud Memorial Hospital (RAWMH), a 100-bed general hospital located in Tilok, Rupsha, Khulna. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services, including Eye, Mother & Child, Dental, ENT, Orthopedic, and General units. We are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the "Medical Officer " position of this hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct medical examinations (including case history review, investigations, and treatment prescriptions) for Outdoor patients.

• Maintain a disease profile for all Outdoor patients.

• Refer patients for investigations to the appropriate departments.

• Refer complicated cases to consultants for proper diagnosis.

• Refer patients to other hospital units as necessary.

• Accompany patients of special interest to consultants for discussion to ensure better treatment.

• Admit patients with initial orders in consultation with consultants.

• Conduct regular rounds in the General and MCU wards and assist consultants in preparing case sheets.

• Write discharge certificates in the prescribed format.

• Follow up on post-operative patients and those admitted for conservative treatment in the absence of consultants.

• Attend General Camps at various pre-selected sites.

• Conduct education sessions for CSS Nursing Institute students, prepare Question papers on relevant subjects and examine the answer sheets before submitting them to the Principal of CSS Nursing Institute.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.
