Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
∎ Essential, higher education with proved computer literacy,
∎ Desirable, degree in Information and technology (IT) or mathematics field
∎ Skills Required: Data Entry Operator (Both English & Bengali)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
MS Excel, Computer Operator, Computer skill, Data Entry, Data Entry Operator (Both English & Bengali), MICROSOFT OFFICE, Microsoft Word
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Enter medical data (e.g. patient data, dates of visit, content of prescription, viral load, etc.) in mission’s database on a regular basis and according to MSF protocols.
∎ • Participate in compilation of data both from MSF structures and from collaborating health facilities.
∎ • Participate in the search for missing data.
∎ • Update files of existing patients and make any corrections needed.
∎ • Make regular back-ups of all data processed.
∎ • Look after all equipment provided and keep recording area clean and tidy, giving special importance to all patient files.
∎ • Report any issue concerning data management to superior
∎ • Elaborate statistical reports when required by the medical team.
∎ • To collaborate and enter all relevant data as per surveillance system in place (morbidity, mortality, surveillance of diseases of epidemic potential, nutrition, psychological, occupational health and women’s health).
∎ • Provide data collection sheets and reports as required by othe rdepartments.
∎ • Provide feedback to supervisors on training needs of staff and assist in the training if required.
∎ • Maintain medical databases (hard and soft copies) and ensure all data is backed-up weekly to avoid rupture in health surveillance.
∎ • Collaborate closely with different departments and suervisors to get and record accurate data.
∎ • Support the supervisors in analysing the statistical data for the reporting.
∎ • Mantain confidentiality of all patients’ data.
∎ • Mantain a regular contact and feedback with the supervisor on any technical questions or issues.
∎ • Ensure proper storage of hard copies acording to the project protocols.
∎ • Ensure, promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Essential computer literacy (word excel and internet)
∎ Essential two years working experience in data entry/analysis
∎ Essential Bangla. English language intermediate level essential
