Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in clinical settings, preferably in SRHR services or humanitarian health response.
- Basic knowledge of SRHR protocols, including family planning, maternal health, and STI treatment.
- Experience or knowledge in GBV response and providing care for survivors of sexual violence.
- Ability to work under supervision in challenging, resource-limited settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Familiarity with the cultural and social dynamics of the key population is an asset.
Responsibilities & Context: - Assist in the provision of SRHR services, including testing and treatment counseling of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Administer basic medical care under supervision, including wound care, vaccinations, and administering medications.
- Conduct initial assessments and triage patients based on severity of condition.
- Ensure patients are referred to the physician as needed for more advanced care.
- Support the Medical Officer and other health workers in coordinating SRHR services with other at static and mobile health interventions.
- Assist in organizing mobile clinics and outreach health services to reach affected populations in remote or hard-to-reach areas.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medicine stock register, testing kit register including SRHR-related services like family planning consultations, post STI treatment counselling.
- Assist with data entry for health reports and ensure compliance with reporting protocols.
- Help monitor SRHR-related health indicators under the guidance of the Physician.
- Assist in managing and distributing medical supplies, including contraceptives, SRHR kits, and medications.
- Help monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Center In charge .
- Ensure proper infection prevention by sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment and instruments.
- Participate in community awareness campaigns focusing on SRHR, gender-based violence prevention, and menstrual hygiene.
- Assist in the training of local health workers and volunteers on SRHR services and basic healthcare practices.
- Mentor community health workers and help build local capacity to sustain health services beyond the emergency response
