Job Context:
∎ Purpose of this position: This position will provide technical support to project related communications and branding through content development, virtual communication & campaign, material development & dissemination, media and community involvement in the context of youth engagement in promotion of democratic values and human rights practices. This position will also ensure MJF`s presence and visibility in youth development in collaboration with relevant government stakeholders, partners, donors, and media. This is a Dhaka based position
∎ Employment Status: Contractual (initially for one year)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Quality media content development (narratives, photos, videos, graphics designs, human interest stories etc.)
∎ Support program team in writing and editing.
∎ Maintain a database of media organizations and communication with them.
∎ Work with media including print, electronic and social media.
∎ Coordinate with program team for collecting reports, photographs, videos, human interest stories etc.
∎ Developing newsletters, infographics etc.
∎ Writing creative pieces/ blogs/ articles on MJF's youth program for digital platforms.
∎ Preparing press releases for print and electronic media including social and digital platforms.
∎ Involvement in hosting podcast
∎ Plan and execute online campaign in social media as per project target and requirement.
∎ Support the branding, campaign and communications initiatives of MJF as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ 02 years' Experience in media & communication.
∎ Working experience with national or international NGOs or media house will be preferred
∎ Skill:
∎ Expertise in content development, creative writing, blogging, social media engagement, storytelling, strategic communication, liaison & event management.
∎ Competencies:
∎ Close relationship with different media stakeholders, in-depth understanding on media communication plan development and amicable personality.
Salary:
∎ Monthly BDT 20,000 (consolidated, no other benefits are applicable)
