∎ Age 27 to 42 years
∎ Minimum 5-6 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the soap & cosmetics industry (a plus).
∎ Strong understanding of mechanical principles, machine operation, and preventative maintenance practices.
∎ Working knowledge of various mechanical equipment used in soap manufacturing, such as mixers, pumps, conveyors, and packaging machines.
∎ Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments within the factory.
∎ Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD) for creating and interpreting mechanical drawings (a plus).
∎ Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles as applied to equipment maintenance (a plus).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the mechanical aspects of the soap manufacturing plant, ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and efficiency of equipment and production lines.
∎ Lead the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
∎ Collaborate with the production, process engineering, and quality control departments to ensure proper equipment functionality aligns with production requirements and quality standards.
∎ Participate in the selection, procurement, and installation of new mechanical equipment, considering factors like functionality, efficiency, and maintenance requirements.
∎ Oversee the implementation of mechanical aspects of process improvement initiatives, ensuring smooth integration with existing equipment and production lines.
∎ Manage the spare parts inventory for mechanical equipment, ensuring timely availability of critical components to minimize downtime during repairs.
∎ Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
∎ Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations within the factory to create a safe working environment for personnel.
∎ Stay updated on advancements in mechanical engineering technologies relevant to the soap manufacturing industry, identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
∎ Job Location: Jarun, Konabari, Gazipur.
