∎ Working knowledge of chemical reaction principles, unit operations (e.g., mixing, heating), and process control systems.
∎ Ability to operate and maintain saponification reactors and related equipment safely and efficiently.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues within the saponification process.
∎ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining consistent quality of soap stock.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the efficient and safe operation of the saponification process within the soap manufacturing factory, ensuring the production of high-quality soap stock according to specifications and production schedules.
∎ Monitor and adjust process parameters (e.g., temperature, pH, reaction time, oil/alkali ratio) to optimize soap formation, minimize waste, and maximize yield.
∎ Manage the proper handling and storage of raw materials (fats, oils, alkalis) used in the saponification process, adhering to safety protocols.
∎ Perform routine maintenance tasks on saponification reactors and related equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance.
∎ Identify and troubleshoot operational problems within the saponification process, promptly resolving issues to minimize production downtime.
∎ Participate in preventive maintenance programs, collaborating with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of saponification equipment.
∎ Maintain accurate records of saponification production, including process parameters, raw material usage, production logs, and any issues encountered.
∎ Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while overseeing the saponification process to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
∎ Stay updated on advancements in saponification technologies, raw materials, and best practices to identify potential improvements for the factory's processes.
