Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a Bangladeshi development organization has been working in the public health sector for last 32 years and currently implementing different projects in 21 districts. PHD intends to hire a competent Project Coordinator (PC) for Save the Children managed and BMZ funded "BDG Strengthening resilience and social cohesion of Rohingya and host communities in Cox`s Bazar through integrated social services and improved livelihoods" in Ukhiya and Teknaf of Cox`s Bazar district.
∎ Job objective: MEAL Officer is responsible to implement a functional MEAL system at field level. He/she will provide technical assistance and support to the programme and operation department in designing, monitoring and evaluating the project interventions. Moreover, he/she will contribute for the implementation of standardized MEAL processes and tools development for Health & Nutrition sectoral field level.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Project Coordinator (PC) and contribute in overall MEAL system establishment and set-up, maintain data accuracy of log frame through IPTT, budgeting for MEAL activities, MEAL narrative plan and others
∎ Develop project specific MEAL frameworks in coordination with project staff
∎ Ensure that critical MEAL findings and recommendations, in support of decision-making process towards programme management
∎ Experience in gathering, managing and analyzing data using KoBo toolbox and analyze data with advance Excel/Power-Bi platform as visualization dashboard
∎ Experience in design and implementation of MEAL systems, including qualitative and quantitative approaches for baselines, process monitoring and outcome assessment as required
∎ Expert data handling skills (classification, categorizing, tabulation etc.) and demonstrates diligence in data management
∎ Clear understanding and technical knowledge and experience in implementation of gender and disability sensitive approaches is a plus
∎ Good knowledge of information presentation techniques (graphing, charting, tabling etc.) and interpreting them
∎ Good knowledge of and experience with public health issues, guidelines, and principles.
∎ Initiate, coordinate and ensure timely submission of monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and annual report
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 55 years
∎ Technical knowledge and experience in implementation of gender and disability sensitive approaches
∎ Ability to work effectively under pressure. Stays open to internal and external feedback
∎ Excellent report writing skills, communication and presentation skills in English
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
