Roles and Responsibilities for “Manager/Deputy Manager – Information Technology”:

  1. Lead and manage the IT department and provide strategic leadership for the development, implementation, and evaluation of an innovative IT strategy.
  2. Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
  3. Knowledge of CBS, systems integrations with different platforms and 3rd party service providers to ensure future technology scale up.
  4. Enforce compliance with all regulatory requirements, external and internal audits.
  5. Supervise and manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment. Maintain the database, web server, mail server, etc.
  6. Develop, implement, and maintain all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
  7. Identify and report on risk, including compliance, to initiate corrective action and meet business and regulatory requirements.
  8. Implement an effective cybersecurity culture throughout the organization.
  9. Manage financial aspects of the IT Division, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
  10. Lead and implement future electronic systems projects.
  11. Introduce the IT Disaster Recovery Site and coordinate testing and reporting of data backup restorations.
  12. Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements. Manage communication infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies, and procedures.
