• Computer skill in Microsoft Excel, Word and Email is a must.

• Candidate must not have any prior criminal record or any fraudulent activity record.

• Age requirement is minimum 35 years.

Job Location: Kaliakoir, Chandra (Gazipur) but may be required to go outside Dhaka.

Job Context :

• Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient day to operation; repair and maintenance of the company’s fleet of trucks and vehicles.

• This role includes conducting regular vehicle inspections; managing vehicle records and keeping them up to date; coordinating with drivers and assigning duties; follow up with vehicle movement and ensuring that vehicle are always trip ready and fit.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automobile engineering and fleet management, contributing to the smooth running of transportation.

Key to Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of the company`s vehicles, identifying mechanical and electrical issues.

• Supervise and coordinate the repair and maintenance of the fleet, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles.

• Ensure proper servicing, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire replacements, and manage any major overhauls or repairs.

• Source and verify quality spare parts, tools, and equipment for vehicle repair and maintenance.

• Maintain a detailed log of vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel consumption, and mileage for efficient fleet management.

• Monitor vehicle movement through GPS systems and provide recommendations for vehicle efficiency improvements.

• Ensure that all vehicles are legally compliant with road safety standards, licensing, and insurance requirements.

• Work closely with drivers to ensure they are aware of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.

• Prepare and manage the annual budget for vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective operations.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols for vehicle operation and maintenance in line with company policies.

• Negotiate and coordinate with external service providers, mechanics, and spare part suppliers.

• Ensure timely procurement of quality vehicle parts and supplies needed for repairs and routine maintenance.

• Build and maintain relationships with authorized service centers, parts suppliers, and insurance companies.
