Responsibilities & Context:
Preparing CTD dossier/recipe, evaluation sheet, stability certificate, stability protocol as dosage form, annexure, and stability data for new product as per ICH & WHO guidelines to submit Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA).
To prepare a product development plan for each new launching product under development activities, which include stages of the design and development, such as lab batch preparation, batch preparation for stability data, pilot scale up, verification, and validation batches, and recording their documents (Stability study) with different suggestive formulations to submit to DGDA.
To prepare an analytical method for new products and raw materials by developing technical methods, and also to prepare an alternative method.
To prepare packaging material specification, BMR preparation, manufacturing process validation & product shelf life declaration.
To arrange a recipe for approving of new product from the Drug Licensing Authority.
To provide a design and development plan for a new product as per the company’s requirements.
To organize a system for the control methods of design changes of new products.
To formulate cost-effective new methods or formulate of new product without affecting the quality of the product.
To assist in the stability data of the lab batch and pilot batch of the newly launching product.
To prepare a product development review record in different stages of the project, as identified in the product development project plan.
To accumulate new product ideas from literature, research papers, customer requirements, and competitor samples.
Any type of problem or deviation in the formulated product, to find out its reason and to make solve it by a proper technical method or to develop a formulation of the product.
To arrange prospective validation/retrospective validation of lab batches/pilot batches of the newly launching product.
To prepare the input document in consultation with other interfacing departments to establish the product development plan.
Reporting to the GM-Plant on PD activities about products under development.
