Responsibilities & Context:
  • Undertake overall responsibility of the business unit.

  • Oversee business unit profitability and achieve EBIT targets.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Consulate officials.

  • Ensure compliance with processes and Service Level Agreements.

  • Mentor teams to adhere to SOPs and ISO standards.

  • Manage unit efficiency, productivity, and alignment with team goals.

  • Implement process enhancements for improved quality and efficiency.

  • Encourage sharing of ideas and best practices within the team.

  • Lead new process rollouts at Visa Application Centers.

  • Control and manage unit budgets and resources.

  • Ensure regular product and process training for staff.

  • Conduct internal process certifications (OCLs) for all staff.

  • Manage security (physical and data) at the Application Centre.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate security policies.

  • Enhance and maintain value-added services to meet targets.

  • Update and track productivity and VAS conversion grids.

  • Collaborate with Value-Added Services team to create new revenue channels.

  • Mentor team members and ensure succession planning. Act as a counselor for Deputy Manager and officers. Liaise with support functions (HR, Finance, Admin, etc.). Forecast manpower needs, especially for peak seasons.

  • Ensure employee well-being during seasonal work pressure.

  • Promote responsible use of natural resources.

  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies.
