Job Context:
∎ FH Association (a Christian, relief & development organization) wants to fill one (1) Manager- Grants and Compliance (MGC) position and therefore, inviting applications from eligible candidates.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The Manager- Grants and Compliance (MGC) is responsible for directing and conducting high quality and outcomes-focused internal control & compliance practices, to ensure that FH Bangladesh and Partner programs are in compliance with both FH Association and Donor`s rules and regulations.
∎ Position : Manager- Grants and Compliance
∎ Report to : Director- Finance and Manager- Business Development
∎ Location : Country Office, Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead compliance to programming & donor standard, monitor and track progress of implementation throughout grant cycle;
∎ Ensure full compliance with donor and FH Association rules and regulations;
∎ Quality Compliance Check through final review of all contractual plans and reports;
∎ Support grant start-up processes including participation in grant start-up workshops, budget preparation and mapping; implementation, close out and evaluation;
∎ Coordinate the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulations;
∎ Apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments;
∎ Analyze organization and partner risk and develop risk register;
∎ Review and assess potential fraud activity and develop fraud detection tools;
∎ Lead monitoring and reporting of significant deficiencies and material weaknesses in internal control and ensure that appropriate remedial actions are taken;
∎ Assist the development of concept notes and proposals, complementary budgets;
∎ Design and coordinate the preparation and review of current policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance requirements; and
∎ Other Duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of experience in the areas of Accounts/Finance or Budget Management.

∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bengali;
∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, ability to relate to and communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);
∎ High integrity and a strong sense of professional ethics;
∎ Strong knowledge on Child/Adult Safeguarding and Fraud Prevention, particularly experience in leading the capacity development and incident investigation;
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and / or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting;
∎ Ability to travel up to 25% of time per year within the Country and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.
