Responsibilities & Context:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, ledger posting, and timely preparation of monthly/annual financial statements.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed asset register.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash books, factory cash, petty cash.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition for nationwide sales operations.

Sales Accounting & Credit Control

• Monitor daily sales postings from nationwide showrooms and distributors.
• Verify credit sales approval, customer ledger, collection tracking, ageing analysis.
• Ensure shop-wise, region-wise, and product-wise sales reports.

VAT, Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee preparation and submission of VAT returns, VDS, TDS, Challan-6.3, 6.6 and Mushak-related documentation.
• Manage corporate tax, employee tax, advance tax, and annual tax filing.
• Coordinate with auditors, NBR, regulatory bodies.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the entire organization.
• Analyze factory costs (foam, mattress, adhesive, home-tex) and implement rigorous cost-control measures.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Supervise cost accounting, bill of materials (BOM), product costing, variance analysis.
• Coordinate with Production, Store, SCM for stock valuation and consumption reporting.

Internal Control & Compliance

• Implement internal control systems for factory, store, procurement, delivery, and sales operations.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support internal & external audit queries.

Team Management & Leadership

• Supervise and train accounts team members (corporate + factory).
• Ensure workflow planning, performance management, and skill development.
