Manager - Finance & Accounts

Most finance careers are spent inside one industry, learning its rhythms and compliance traps for thirty years. This role is built differently.

We are looking for an architect to design and run a unified finance function across five distinct companies that should not, on paper, belong together:

• Music: A legacy platform shaping the sound of Bangladesh for two decades.

• Media Production: Managing digital assets, lyrical versions, and professional creative releases.

• Transformational Consulting: Working with some of the country’s most respected corporate names.

• AI-Driven Creative Studio: Operating at the edge of media technology and generative AI.

• Sustainable Handicraft Export: Supporting 900+ women artisans with buyers in 21+ countries.

Five worlds. Five revenue logics. One person to hold them all together.

What You Will Own

Reporting directly to the founder, you will design and run the finance function for all five entities. You will not inherit a system; you will build it.

1. Accounting and Reporting

• Build a unified accounting system with clean P&L separation per entity and consolidated views.

• Oversee monthly vouching, transaction analysis, and TDS/VDS deductions at source.

• Maintain General, Subsidiary, and Cash Ledgers to professional standards.

• Draft annual accounts and manage the end-to-end audit process through to signed reports.

2. Tax, VAT, and Export Compliance

• Manage Mushak 2.1 VAT registrations, ETINs, and monthly treasury deposits.

• Handle annual income tax computations and quarterly returns under the Income Tax Act 2023.

• Manage export documentation, foreign currency receipts, and EPB matters.

3. Corporate Secretarial and Licensing

• Handle all RJSC matters from name clearance to full incorporation.

• Manage City Corporation requirements, including Trade License applications, renewals, and cancellations.

The Person We Are Looking For

The technical bar is just the floor. We are looking for a professional who treats finance as a craft.

• Experience: 5+ years of core finance experience, ideally across multiple industries.

• Qualification: CA-CC, ACMA Inter, or Qualified (ACMA / ACA).

• Technical Mastery: You have filed at RJSC yourself and can read a Trade License application like a familiar map.

• The "Builder" Mindset: You should be the kind of person who feels a small thrill in a clean reconciliation and spots the missing Taka before the system flags it.

You will sit across entertainment, consulting, tech, and export - a vantage point most finance professionals in Bangladesh will never get. You will work directly with the founder in Dhaka, with no layers between your reading of the numbers and the decisions that follow.
