Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Machinist for our shipyard operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components used in shipbuilding and marine equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate machine tools such as lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines.
Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts for ships and marine equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Perform precision measurements using instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Maintain machinery and ensure proper functioning of all tools.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Follow safety standards and shipyard regulations strictly.
Assist in installation and alignment of mechanical components onboard vessels.
Work collaboratively with engineers and other technical teams.

Experience Requirements:
2–5 years of experience as a machinist (Shipyard/Dockyard)
