Job Summary:

Daffodil International College, a leading educational institution committed to academic excellence, is seeking a passionate and qualified Lecturer/Sr. Lecturer for the Department of Chemistry and the Department of English for its Dhaka campus.

  • Educational Qualifications: Minimum 2nd Class in Master's Degree or CGPA 3.00 in the relevant subject (Chemistry, English) from any recognized university.

  • Experience:

    • For the position of Sr. Lecturer (Chemistry, English) : At least 5 years of teaching experience at reputed colleges (Bangla/English version) is mandatory.

    • For the position of Lecturer (Chemistry, English) : At least 3 years teaching experience at any reputed college (Bangla/English Version) will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures in respective Subjects (Chemistry, English) composition as per the National Curriculum and College guidelines.

  • Prepare lesson plans, course outlines, and teaching materials.

  • Conduct regular assessments, provide feedback, and maintain accurate student records.

  • Guide students in academic and co-curricular activities to foster overall development.

  • Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs.

  • Assist in curriculum development, syllabus updates, and examination question setting/moderation.

  • Provide academic counselling and mentoring to students as needed.

  • Contribute to research, publications, and other scholarly activities (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Collaborate with faculty members to ensure a consistent and effective learning environment.
