Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 331 Upazilas under 51 districts of Bangladesh, covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ As a Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering training programs for skill training projects. You will work closely with the project team to develop training plans, curricula, and materials, and to ensure the effective delivery of training to participants. You will also provide guidance and support to other trainers and facilitators, and help to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs.
∎ As partnership with UNICEF, ESDO will implement the Empowering the most disadvantaged adolescent girls and young women through eco system based Alternative Leaning Programme (ALP) for market-driven transferable skills project at Sherpur, Jamalpur, Satkhira, Barisal, Gazipur and Bhola district. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ Required Trade: IT Freelancing/ Handicraft/ Industrial Sewing Machine Operation/ Mobile Phone Servicing/ Electrical Installation and Maintenance/IT Support service.
∎ The project duration total 36 months from the joining date.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and deliver training programs in line with project goals and objectives
∎ Work with the project team to develop training curricula and materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and handouts
∎ Facilitate training sessions, providing guidance and support to participants as needed
∎ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and make recommendations for improvement as necessary
∎ Provide coaching and mentoring to other trainers and facilitators, helping to build their capacity and ensure consistent delivery of training across the project
∎ Work with project partners and stakeholders to ensure that training programs are aligned with industry needs and standards
∎ Maintain accurate records of training activities, including participant attendance and performance
∎ Develop and deliver post-training follow-up activities to support participants in applying their new skills and knowledge
∎ Participate in project planning and reporting activities, providing input and feedback on training-related matters
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management

∎ Working experience with Master Craft Person
∎ Frequent traveling
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in the context of skill training projects
∎ Strong understanding of adult learning principles and techniques, and experience in developing and delivering training curricula and materials
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented approach
∎ Knowledge of relevant industries and markets, and understanding of the skills needed to succeed in those sectors
∎ Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment, with sensitivity to different cultures and perspectives
∎ Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools for training delivery and management
Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
