Experience:
MSc/MS and BSc/BS (or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or related disciplines from reputed universities.
Relevant laboratory experience will be considered an added qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is preferable.
Good knowledge of laboratory safety, biosafety, sterilization, waste management, and laboratory practices.
Ability to operate and maintain common laboratory equipment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and record-keeping skills in Bangla and English.
Proficiency in MS Office and Internet applications.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and colleagues.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and confidentiality.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Maintain, operate, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment and instruments, including routine checks, troubleshooting, calibration, and servicing.
Maintain laboratory inventories, equipment records, maintenance logs, and relevant technical and safety documentation.
Manage the preparation, storage, labeling, handling, and availability of chemicals, reagents, culture media, biological materials, and other laboratory supplies.
Provide technical support to faculty members and students during laboratory classes, research activities, and routine laboratory operations.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and biosafety requirements, including sterilization, disinfection, waste management, and emergency procedures.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions in accordance with University policies and guidelines.
Coordinate with relevant University offices, vendors, and service providers for laboratory maintenance, repairs, supplies, and other operational requirements.
