Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc)
∎ Candidates with MBA and B.Sc in Computer Science/ CSE/ IT may also apply;
∎ Candidates with international professional certificate in different IT area(s) will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop future plan and operating policies to ensure the growth of IT services, infrastructure and University Management System;
∎ Oversee the development and enhancement of systems and integrating new systems with those existing;
∎ Work with staff across departments to help develop plans to support organizational development, best practice, training, user effectiveness and encourage innovation;
∎ Ensure smooth & quality deliverable of all IT services;
∎ Keep up-to-date with the most recent technologies and advise on what new technological solutions and their implementation will meet university requirements;
∎ Assist senior management with accurate information as required for all campus associate activities and initiate decisions;
∎ Implement & Maintain IT policies, procedures and standards that support long-term IT strategy;
∎ Analyze the requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs;
∎ Prepare financial budgets and present proposals for capital projects to senior management;
∎ Inspect the use of technical equipment and software to ensure flawless functionality and complete efficiency;
∎ Ability to manage change and implement new processes;
∎ Coach and mentor junior team members as appropriate;
∎ Be an active voice within the Senior Management team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Strong inspirational people management skills;
∎ Must have good communication skills specially in English;
∎ Proven experience as IT Director or similar role.
