Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify and assess key financial and operational risks within the hospital, including compliance risks related to healthcare regulations.
∎ Develop and execute audit plans based on identified risks, conducting reviews of financial records, patient billing, inventory management, and other relevant areas.
∎ Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
∎ Conduct investigations into suspected fraudulent activities or irregularities.
∎ Analyze existing internal controls to determine their effectiveness in preventing fraud, errors, and waste, and recommend improvements where necessary.
∎ Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
∎ Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
∎ Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of hospital operations, including patient flow, staff productivity, and supply chain management.
∎ Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
∎ Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
∎ Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations for improvement, and management action plans.
∎ Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations.
∎ Monitor the implementation of corrective actions taken by management to address identified issues.
∎ Any other task assigned by the ManagementRequired skills and qualifications:
∎ Strong communication skills to work with Accountants and other coworkers
∎ Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data and numbers
∎ Exceptional mathematical skills to verify entries
∎ Good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make decisions
∎ Excellent research skills to find all related information needed
∎ Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
∎ Retired Govt. employees will be given preference
