Responsibilities & Context:
Core Job Responsibilities
Calibration and Testing: Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate measurements of pressure, temperature, flow, and level, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faulty equipment, and replace defective parts to minimize downtime.
Installation and Configuration: Install new instruments, control systems, and pneumatic/electrical tubing.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Use diagnostic equipment and schematics to identify issues with, or failures in, process control systems.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations (such as OSHA or site-specific policies).
Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel to enhance system performance.
