• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing

• At least 1 year

• Age At least 22 years

• Must be registered with Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC)

• Strong theoretical and clinical knowledge in nursing subjects

• Practical teaching or training experience in a nursing institute or hospital (preferred)

• Ability to conduct both classroom and clinical demonstrations

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Strong classroom management and student counseling ability

• Professional attitude, discipline, and ethical conduct

• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and academic administration

• Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment, and student evaluation

• Familiarity with BNMC curriculum, accreditation standards, and nursing regulations

• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Email).

• Willingness to take additional academic responsibilities when needed

Rumdo Nursing College, Mymensingh; Daliya Nursing College, Bogura; and Anowara Nursing College, Dinajpur are inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Nursing Instructor.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical instruction in nursing education, supervising students during clinical practice, and contributing to academic and institutional development in accordance with the guidelines of the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC). The role requires a strong commitment to teaching excellence, professional ethics, and student-centered learning to ensure high-quality nursing education.

Job Descriptions:

• Coordinate and guide the Students of the class and ensure class attendance.      

• Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval.      

• Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required.

• Organize different Programs (Rally, Campaign, Medical Camps, Cultural Program, Debates etc.).     

• Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution.     

• Take initiatives against any sort of disciplined activities by any of the subordinates or students.      

• Supervise the Teacher - Parents meeting and Result Day.

• Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their children`s problems.      

• Conduct theoretical & Practical Classes as per Syllabus and College.   

• Motivate and Counsel the students and their parents/guardians through follow-up to ensure 85% class attendance and to reduce dropout.   

• Facilitate in-house skill training for the teaching staff.   

• Assist Department Head as per his/ her needed.  

• Prepare weekly attendance report and submit to the Department Head.   

• Prepare lesson plan and semester plan at the beginning of the subject.  

• Positive willingness for Team work.   

• To arrange clinical practice and internship for students.

• Any other task as assigned from time to time.
