Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons that cover all four language skills tested in the IELTS exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
∎ Create engaging and interactive teaching materials tailored to the needs of individual students or groups.
∎ Implement effective teaching methodologies that address various learning styles and proficiency levels.
∎ Teach students about the IELTS test format, scoring criteria, and specific strategies to excel in each section of the exam.
∎ Provide guidance on time management, question analysis, and answer formulation techniques for improved performance.
∎ Administer practice tests and mock exams to evaluate students' progress and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Offer constructive feedback on students' practice tests, assignments, and speaking performances, highlighting strengths and suggesting areas for enhancement.
∎ Understand the unique strengths and weaknesses of each student and provide personalized assistance to address their specific needs.
∎ Conduct one-on-one sessions to address specific challenges, provide additional support, and track individual progress.
∎ Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to actively participate and strive for improvement.
∎ Use a variety of teaching techniques, multimedia resources, and real-world examples to maintain student engagement.
∎ Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, assignments, and progress.
∎ Prepare regular progress reports for students, highlighting their achievements and areas that require more attention.
∎ Stay updated with the latest developments in IELTS testing, teaching methodologies, and language instruction best practices.
∎ Attend relevant workshops, training sessions, and conferences to enhance your skills as an IELTS instructor.
