Experience:

• 1 to 3 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science

• 1 to 3 years

• Experience in industrial OHS (preferably textile/garments).

• Strong understanding of BLA-2006, BBC, OSHA/ILO standards.

• Experience in fire safety management, emergency response, and incident investigation.

• Knowledge of Higg FEM, ISO 45001 (an added advantage).

Job Summary

The role is responsible for ensuring day-to-day safety compliance at the project site by monitoring worker behavior, enforcing safety protocols, issuing required permits, and maintaining proper documentation. This position plays a key role in preventing accidents, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring all high-risk activities follow organizational and regulatory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Patrol: Walk around the site every day to check if workers are wearing helmets, boots, and vests (PPE).
• Stop Unsafe Work: Immediately stop any worker doing dangerous jobs (like working at height without a belt) and report it
• Permit Paperwork: Fill out and sign 'Work Permits' before anyone starts dangerous jobs (welding, electrical work, or lifting
• Morning Briefing: Talk to workers every morning (Toolbox Talk) to remind them about safety risks for the day.
• Record Keeping (MoV): Keep a file of signed Work Permits.
