∎ JOB DESCRIPTION
∎ Responsible for coordinating with communities, clinic patients, beneficiaries and ensuring smooth implementation of COVID-19 Clinic Support project activities under supervision of Clinic Coordinator and Program Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess the needs and resources required for OBAT Helpers & MedGlobal health promotion activities, and plan an appropriate integrated response that aligns with organizational and Health Sector priorities.
∎ Plan, design and manage the implementation of health promotion measures to address priority public health risks according to the agreed plan and complimentary to physical sanitation measures.
∎ Mobilize communities, where appropriate, to participate fully in this programme.
∎ Train community facilitators, trainers and staff in health promotion as appropriate.
∎ Support and train official camp of Kutupalong staff in health promotion project planning and implementation, including budgeting and reporting, as appropriate.
∎ Develop/adapt hygiene promotion materials for use during an emergency operation for different target groups e.g. children, elderly, pregnant women, and those responsible for Operation and Maintenance (O&M).
∎ Encourage community participation as much as possible throughout the programme cycle, in training, and in the use of WHO and Health Cluster toolkits and other materials.
∎ Monitor the impact of health promotion activities and provide regular, timely and accurate narrative information for inclusion in the MedGlobal's reports for the Program Manager or other parties.
∎ Ensure that health promotion activities are in line with SPHERE standards, Health & Care policies and national policies.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
∎ Educational Requirements: Graduate/ Bachelor Degree.
∎ At least 1 year(s) experience in community engagement, data collection with KOBO toolbox.
∎ Should have knowledge on Public Health, WASH, Community mobilisation, PRA tools and techniques.
∎ Basic orientation on public health promotion for refugee camp
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Computer operating knowledge
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
