Responsibilities:

• Carry out the instructions properly

• Proper use of required resources

Activities:

Patient Care and Service Delivery

• Greet and welcome each patient courteously and provide a friendly, respectful, and patient-centered service experience.

• Organize and facilitate health education sessions for patients and caregivers using appropriate IEC materials/Flip Chart

• Provide appropriate counseling to outpatient patients on prescribed medicines, medical advice, and follow-up requirements to support effective management.

• Support the health team in effective patient management and service coordination during medical and surgical camps.

• Prepare and maintain accurate lists of selected surgical and medical patients for further management, referral, and follow-up.

• Provide support to the Laboratory Technologist in conducting ECG services and assist the X-ray Technician in providing X-ray services to female patients when required.

• Ensure orderly patient flow and queue management from token distribution and registration through consultation, investigation, medicine collection, and completion of services.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor in a timely and professional manner.

• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and sensitivity when interacting with patients.

• Respond appropriately to patients' questions, concerns, and service-related needs while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Professional Conduct and Accountability

• Treat patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders with courtesy, respect, and professionalism at all times.

• Maintain appropriate professional relationships with patients.

• Take full responsibility for the assigned service area and ensure that all patient counseling, health education, information provision, and related activities are performed effectively and on time.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant organizational policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and the Code of Conduct.

• Ensure that all assigned responsibilities are carried out with accountability, integrity, and due attention to quality of service.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university with 1 year of experience.

Required Experience:

1 year of experience

Skill and Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills and desire to learn.

• Flexible, highly committed & motivated to work in remote locations, especially in riverine areas.
