• Strategy & Policy: Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage security personnel (both physical guards and technical analysts).

• Operations Management: Oversee daily security operations, including managing Security Operations Centers (SOCs), monitoring systems, and responding to threats.

• Risk Management: Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses to identify weaknesses.

• Incident Response: Lead investigations into breaches, incidents, and violations, and manage incident response plans.

• Technology & Infrastructure: Manage and implement security technologies (firewalls, IDS, CCTV, access controls) and architecture.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Reporting & Communication: Provide reports, present proposals, and communicate security status and needs to senior management and stakeholders.

• Budget Management: Control and manage the security budget and resources.
